Heather L. Urry, Ph.D. Professor, Department of Psychology, Tufts University

Dr. Urry is a clinical psychologist specializing in affective neuroscience and psychophysiology. She developed the SOC-ER framework for understanding how people select emotion regulation strategies, and her current work examines emotional processes that predict performance under stress. She’s an active member of the Psychological Science Accelerator, the Society for Affective Science, and the Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science.
